I'm new to conventions, how does this work?

It's a place to come play board games!

The Strong Tower Gamers are hosting a large gathering of people from every walk of life to come and play board games. Some people come to run their favorite games, teaching them to others. Others come to learn new games and/or for a chance to play their favorite games. Still others come to meet new people and have fun. And thus, the Strong Tower Gaming Convention.

To attend the Strong Tower Gaming Convention, you will need an account with Tabletop.Events to purchase a convention badge, sign up to play games, run your favorite games (if you want to) and to view our scheduled games list.

(don't worry, it's free to register, but there is a fee to come to the convention.)

*Please note that badge registration and event (game) submissions are currently scheduled to open April 5!

Event (game) registration (sign up to play games)

will begin Saturday, June 7.

Browse the published events (games) list or submit your own games to run! If games are full you may be able to get on the wait list. Games will continue to be posted until about a month before the convention.

Once you find events you would like to participate in, add the "ticket" to your cart and check-out. Registering for a convention badge has a cost, but signing up to play games is totally free to attendees.

After you select the events you want to participate in, you will receive email confirmations of your tickets and events.

Yes you can! But...

Seats are limited to 450 people and many games will fill up in advance. You can do all of the above in person each day of the convention, but, again, seats are limited and signing up in advance makes it much easier to plan the convention, plan the games and make it the best experience for all attendees!
